Driver Safety TelematicsDiscussion ongoing
I’m going to shoot for the moon here and see if there’s an idea toward developing driver safety telematics capability (or buying a company that already has it). Talk about your one-stop shop! SC gives us inspecting capability, lone-worker tracking, even the potential for training. This could be a really-great next step...
Reschedule and or notify if not a certain %New
For scored inspections create a optional function to reschedule them if the percentage is bellow above a required mark.we use template / inspections to test knowledge of a process or cleanliness of a sessionit would inherit the same assignees from the originals schedule i.e. one of or all off the original schedule notes in the case of all of it would be only the person who didn’t meet the requirement. if would inherit the same time frame i.e.. of the original schedule allowed for 25 days to complete and late submissionsI’d like to specify the delay before it’s rescheduled i.e. if the room was messing they need 3 dyas to clean it before we inspect again
Link two inspections / templates (incident report and incident investigation)New
When and employee fills in an incident report i.e. fell on the forklift and hurt my wrist. the manager then needs to do an incident investigation maybe he finds we need a new safety handle or maybe the employee need a reprimand or more training. right now we map and track this manually externally that every incident has an investigation, sometime we will ask two or more employee to fill in an incident report. other examples are a template that checks general cleanliness and notes that one of the bins is not clean currently they create an action but many time the person who completes the action just put in note in the action to say bin is clean because they don’t remember that they should complete the bin cleaning template
Required Repeating SectionsNew
We have inspections where if the answer to a question is YES, then the user needs to add data for a set of questions in a repeatable section for each device. The questions within the section are set “Required” but the “Adding” of the section cannot be marked as mandatory. Can the section ADD be made to be required so we do not miss data?
Fill in for defaults when creating an action from a template / inspectionNew
when am employee get to an item that requires an action they always miss something or do something wrong the most popular on is assigning it to them selves. it would be nice if the create action feature allow you to say the action when created should be assigned to ___________ and should be due ______ days from now
Add Logic function
What I’m trying to achieve is having 1 Audit Document that can be used for multiple different departments. I want to have multiple pages where each page represents a different topic. Not all pages are required to be completed for each department. Im wanting to use the Logic Function to direct the flow into a selected page instead of a section.I can achieve the above by having each topic in a new section but the report formatting doesnt work out.eg.10 pages all relating to different topics.2 departmentsDepartment 1 may need pages 1,3,5,7,9 and these will be activated by logicDepartment 2 may need Pages 2,4,6,8,10. Not sure if this makes sense, I’m trying not to have a different document for each department and use logic to select the pages Jason
To make filling in some our inspections quicker is it possible to mark an answer as the default or preferred answer which is pre-selected as the choice? We would still need the option to be able to select any other answerE.g.Q1 - Sample question please select “No”.A1 = YesA2 = No (Default)A3 = N/A

Keep the template list organized by using foldersNews

Notifications from externally shared templates.
We run a permit to work system with our sub-contractors utilising SafetyCulture. We share the templates externally and they complete the permits when required. When they have completed the permits they click an acknowledgement which gives us an instant notification via text and email. This was extremely effective until yesterday when the notifications stopped coming through. If one of our internal users completes a permit, the notifications come through, it is just those shared outside of our company platform.Support is working on it but thought it worth mentioning in case anyone else uses notifications with externally shared templates. If so, you may want to check you do not have the same issue.

Risk Assessment FeaturesNew
We would love some risk assessment functions/tools in templates. I was recently asked by a site management team if they should choose Issues over Actions for “on the floor” reporting. The two look identical with only a few differences (Assets in Actions, Labels in Actions vs. Issue category, recurring Action option, probing questions in Issues, Actions can come from Inspection vs. initiating inspection from Issues). The conclusion was that the notification feature when creating an Issue was powerful, and management can later determine if an Action follow up is necessary. However, Issues notifications has problems:Site is being forgotten because there is no option to require it (either globally or by category). This keeps notifications from happening and prevents access. We know notifications will go out later if you assign a site afterwards, but this isn’t usually caught right away if at all. So then the notifications are not timely. To more easily setup who needs to get notified for each category across each of our sites, I setup a group for ea
Individual SC Environments under Organisation "Head Group"Discussion ongoing
We would like the ability to setup & manage individual SC accounts/environments (based upon the Site hierarchy levels) under our organisation “head group”. Each individual account/environment will have the same functions as the SC organisation, with the ability to individually brand, but will only display data on the same or below site hierarchy level. When using ‘Actions’, ‘Schedules’ or “Issues’ in these environments, users will only be able to assign these to users or groups on the same or below site hierarchy level.Users (internal & external) will only have visibility of data on the same or below site’s hierarchy level, and have the ability to “switch" into any environment below their site level. This would allow for a lot more flexibility in turns of user permissions, for example, you could give “admin” permissions to a user on the “area” or “region” level without compromising the organisation’s account/data. This also allows an organisation to delegate reporting or monito
Ability to define rolesNot planned
An opportunity that I see for the SC platform is a more robust role feature. There are groups, but currently feel that groups are a bit confused about their place in the platform at times and can lead to a large admin burden dependant on the organisation size. What could roles offer:Define a role types that exist in your organisation Associate data access to each role Associate permissions for each role Associate what sites have each roleThere would be the ability to then link users to roles at a relevant sites and potential flow on effects:Inspections completed could be owned by roles, scheduled inspections started would not be locked by a user as the role would own it Actions and schedules could be assigned to roles, instead of hoping to pick the right individual or group from a long list - you could just select “Manager (of this site)” and anyone is that relevant role would get the assignment. If the people in the role changes, all the templates, inspections, permissions, actions and
Site Owners and CategoriesNot planned
I know we can assign people to sites, but it would be useful if this could go a step further and we could add Owners to sites, so they are notified of inspections/flagged items etc. rather than everyone else who is just a site user. I think this can be done using notifications within a template, but it would be good it could be just done once within the Sites configuration and applied globally. It would also be useful to have categories for sites that could be applied in analytics etc. For example we manage the electrical network within our site. If all substations, switchrooms etc could be tagged as ‘Electrical Infrastructure’ and this could be applied when filtering analytics - it would make it much easier to report on. Again, I know this could be added as a question and filtered using items and responses - but it has to be added to every template and then populated manually (and accurately) each time.
Ability for users with "Data management" permission to change template ownerNew
I am frequently running into problems with changing the template owner. As a user with “Admin” and “Data Management” permissions to our platform, even I do not have the capability to change the owner of a template. That is a major oversight that Data Management does not provide the ability to change a template owner, considering it comes with the ability to edit, delete, and change access to all templates. Recently, I changed our “user visibility” setting with the new options to restrict users to your site. That adds the “Team” list of users associated to the site for everyone to see in dropdowns when assigning actions and issues or setting up template access, which is must easier and faster for them to find the right people. However, it also means that if they want to change the template owner to someone outside their site, which we do frequently because they make a duplicate template to help a site out who wants a similar template, they can’t. I can’t either. I end up inundating th
