My colleague has accidentally launched a new manual inspection instead of using the schedule link to the template. 

The schedule will now show it as being missed/overdue which it actually isn't.

I can manually select ‘wont do’ within the schedule and explain why, to try and correct this for record keeping but really we need another option (next to ‘wont do’ such as ‘link to’) that allows me to select an existing manually completed inspection (that matches the template name in the schedule) thus linking the manual one to the scheduled one. 

 

This commonly occurs, and then the statistics and reporting of scheduled inspections is wrong.


Agree, this creates a problem. Other platforms I have used have the ability to uncheck “allow unscheduled inspections”.
