Hello everyone, My name is Bec and I’m a Product Manager looking into Contractor Management at SafetyCulture. Part of our research has uncovered a big need for tracking qualifications of workers (both contractors and internal employees) which is something we are currently working on. I’m researching how we can onboard workers into an organisation including collecting relevant qualifications from workers. I’d love to start a discussion to help me answer a few questions: What type of information do you need to collect from new workers when they start working with your organisation? Does this differ for contractors vs internal employees? How do you track the type of information you need to collect? (Excel, ISO standards, a very knowledgeable team members brain etc) In the SafetyCulture platform, if we were to introduce the ability to create an onboarding checklist where would you envision this would be found? I would love to hear more to see how we can solve this problem in the SafetyCu

I’d love to learn more about the following from everyone:How do you check and track progress for both your work and your teams work? Would you like to see all tasks in SafetyCulture on the same calendar and/or gantt view? How often do you and your team check in with the progress of work?
Good Afternoon,I was looking at Analytics and the different ways to get data from our inspections in our Facility. Looking through the site, I see that we can get # of inspections conducted, # of flags in inspection, etc. What I am looking for is to extract the data (weights inputted, pure number, etc.) within the actual inspections. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.
Hi all, Is anyone else experiencing an issue whereby you edit an already opened action, and either update status or comment, and the SAVE button is then greyed out until you change one of the existing field items either to something else or back to how it was? Then I’m able to SAVE. Seems like a silly little bug/issue. Thanks.
Hello! Our company creates a template that changes weekly by importing a list from an Excel File. However, we noticed this week the option to create a template with this function has been removed since the latest update. Importing the files in PDF or images, the only two formats now, changes completely our list. Is the Excel format permanently removed? Is there a way to optimize a PDF for the platform to better read the document?
Has anyone identified a way to pull in external content into SC Training? I’m not referring to PowerPoints, PDFs, etc. but rather other systems. For example, if you subscribe to systems like KnowBe4, LinkedIn Learning, Open Sesame, etc., it would be great if that content could be added as a course in SC Training natively, so it’s delivered and tracked in one place. I know that some content providers have SCORM exports, so you could use a SCORM slide type and upload it that way. If they don’t, do you just make a “dummy” course with a link to the external content?
Currently how scoring works for the templet is to gain scores from scored questions. However, if there are many questions in the templet, then the total maximum score can get very big, and a few failed responses can still have a high percentage/score.This is just an idea.If we can take scores off the traditional 100 full score if the response is a failed response, then we can really separate passed and failed inspection instead of mostly above 90% percentages.
Hi Everyone, My name is Emma and I am the Safety Culture Administrator at Intrepid Travel. The business has recently acquired a hotel and we will be bringing SafetyCulture into the hotel for various different audits. However, to start off with we will be having some work done and contractors on site completing this work. We have already decided you add the contractors as free users, so they can watch some ‘heads up’ safety videos and acknowledge they have viewed them. My questions are, for anyone that works with contractors;Do you ask the contractors to download SC to their own mobile and complete the necessary, or do you have a centralised laptop or tablet where each contractor can sign in, watch and acknowledge a heads up? I am anticipating push back from contractors if we insist on them downloading an app to watch a video before they can start. Where in SC do you store important information like their trading/license number, insurance details etc?Thanks for helping me!Emma
Is it possible to have the answers on an inspection title page default to the responses on the last inspection ?Example: customer name, site address, date, inspector.I know I could just have a single inspection with large repeating sections, but the limitations of calculated fields for child nested sections is, well, a bummer for this method. Also making them separate inspections, without having to duplicate the header info, better suits our record keeping and report output needs.
Did anyone else receive a pop up on their mobile device letting them know that we could now capture an image of a document and it would devise a SC Training course automatically?I think my eyes may have deceived me because I can’t find anything on the website or apps. I’d love to try this out if it is a real thing 😍
HiI’m developing a training course where I want to add a practical element to determine the delegates competency.I’ve tried to find a help article SafetyCulture Help Center but the training elements are very basic. I can’t figure out what the bits on the left do and how best to use them.Has anyone else used this feature in Training yet?
