Risks & Opportunities

I am looking for suggestion in regard to our ISO system. We are a service organization, and our external auditor has taken some exception to how we manage issues regarding ISO Section 6a. Actions to Address Risks and Opportunities. We have not had any issues in the past regarding this subject. Management has made changes on how they look for them, identify them and communicate with our staff about them. This remains an issue with the auditor. I am looking for some help.

Download Dashboards

Is there a way to download a dashboard (e.g. pdf file)? I see that you can download individual charts on a dashboard as picture file or csv.

Creating tabular checklists for audits

I would like to use SC auditing feature for my Food safety, GMP, H&S, Glass and Brittle plastic audits and more if these seems feasible. I have just noticed the SC features and been using the free version to check the features out. Is it possible to create checklists in table format and add data while audits? We use Excel sheets for this now. I understand there are ways to do this in Question and response manner, but I’d really prefer to have this in a table format, have our logo up there, organize rows & columns for max efficiency. Has anybody done this before? Any feature in Premium would help me to create such a table??? Any inputs are very much appreciated!!!

Shared templates

Hi Community, Maybe something you are running into as well. I have shared our templates with external users that are working out of different data centers via the Shared library so they can download it. When we update our template I have to notify them of new/updated templates. For those working in the same data center I give them access by entering their email address in “Give external access”. As I can’t download a file with all the email addresses, i need to keep track of it in an Excel. Anybody who has an idea to keep track of the 100-150 external users ? Should this be an idea instead of a question ? Jan

Template interactions and improvements

Is there a way to do the following. If not van this be added as an idea? ============================================================================ Build template Add logic or custom labels when a label is chosen or logic inserted a linked item, image or pdf is associated with the choice This links to the beta Documents roll out (both internally and for Contractors) So the option is chosen for example - Materials used - choice is Specific BRICKS from choice. When making choice there is a linked document for the brick that is automatically attached The above would automate linking items with choices. Another example would be linking specific SC training with a choice from the logic added Or an Heads Up Or an Asset Or TBTs, SOPs etc Is this available yet or in the pipeline? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above can then even be extended to link with internal area, sites, contractor

Free plan limitations.

Quick question. Did the free plan limitations come in for everyone on March 25th 2025, or just our company? We invested a lot of time writing inspection templates only to find now that we can’t afford the $1500 subscription. In have no problem paying, it’s a good service. However, I feel that one guy on the premium plan and the 4 other staff members who fill out inspections and nothing more, could be on the lite plan. This seems far - especially since when we first started writing templates there was no warning of an unpayable price increase.I’m sure as our company grows we may use your other cool features, but we will never know. The word extortion comes to mind? Maybe not, but a little upsetting that we’ve potentially wasted all that time nonetheless. Could there be any leniency for legacy users? Cheers, Aaron.

in the assets section under documents

In assets i would like to have a place to store thigs like Wire rope certs so they are always available and updated on the location of the asset does anyone have a work around that would be like a folder inside the documents section that i could title as lets say Wire rope certs then place all the certs for that asset in that folder this could be handy for many other documents also.

Why on Assets is there no Mandatory filed s for us to use / decide - based on our businesses

The current mandatory fields within assets is not working and is very limited. Can SC Technical please provide answers as to why this is the case. Also the labels and dynamic colours? When will this or similar be added? Surely we are missing what we have in templates where a field is added that this could also be a custom drop down field that fits us better and not just standard. This chage or similar imo will only improve the current use and dat collation that also drive the transparent look, visuals and dat crunching ability of the SC dashboard system Regards Jonny

Best Way to Export Images from Inspection

Ok, we have been using SC for awhile. As we onboard more manual processes, we are met with new challenges. While everyone loves getting the URL to the public inspection report, which has ll the media attachments in one spot at the bottom, due to some other processes (like SAP) where we need to actually upload the images of say a failed roof or a safety issue to justify a charge, I ask this. Besides the end users manually clicking on each photo in the media summary and downloading to their computer and then uploading into their respective software (SAP, Salesforce), is there a better way to export or retrieve, just the .jpegs from an inspection? Not sure if the data exporter or any other add on can handle just the attachments,

Link a template within an inspection

Is it possible to link one inspection template that would need to be completed from another inspection template? What I would like to be able to do is when our Maintenance Department is doing TPM the first question is: Has LO/TO been completed? Y/N with logic and when the answer is Yes the response would be to link the LO/TO template for them to complete this inspection based upon type of equipment being PM’d. The LO/TO template has a fair amount of logic and response sets based upon asset type. I would love to be able to do this because the PM’s are based upon departments and the response sets are quite large and to incorporate the LO/TO inspection template into each response would be a huge undertaking. Short answer is that I could do an extensive edit to the PM template and incorporate LO/TO criteria into the asset type as a prerequisite to the PM being started. Thank you Mike

Edit Asset Types in Bulk

Hi there We have created new asset types and therefore need to update the asset types for each asset. I can’t find a way to do this without needing to update 1000+ assets individually as the edit in bulk template does not seem to work for Asset Types. Is there an easier way to do this? Any help would be appreciated Thank you Michael

Merging or co-working same template

Good day, we are getting ready to do an inspection on a million Sq ft facility that will require to assessors to split up to complete the inspection. Is it possible to work on the same template at the same time or is there a way to merge in the web version once we get back to the hotel? Any help would be amazing, we are new to the platform

12 hour maximum period - activity ending

Hi, I think the app automatically closes a lone worker activity after 12 hours, but the user doesn’t receive any notification to check-in or notification that the activity has stopped. We had a situation earlier where a user checked in at 1pm and the activity automatically ended after 12 hours at 16.37, meaning a time period of over 3 hours where the lone worker could have been in trouble. Removing x2 Section Headings in Reports

I would like to remove the double up of the headings in repeat sections so that it only says "Location 1" and continues chronologically or "Item 1". Instead of "Location Location 1" or Item Item 1" This looks totally unprofessional in a report and I can’t seem to find how to turn the function off Image 1 of how my report shows Image 2 of how the example viewer shows it (how I want it to show up in my reports) Image 3 of how my template is set out as

Flagged items view as a link

Hello everyone, I would like to know if it is possible and if anyone has managed to use the flagged items as a link to the subsequent pages of the inspections. This is because in multi-page reports it is sometimes difficult for a reader to search for the relevant flagged item. We have already tried to make it easier to read by including chapters and subdivision into paragraphs, but it would be useful if clicking directly on the flagged item would take you directly to the chapter in question, so that you have all the points linked to the flagged item.I enclose an example of the numbered flagged item solution that we have adopted but would still like to improve. As you can see, the items jump from one chapter to the next and this is difficult to read for a user who does not use SC, but only benefits from the final result in .pdf format. Export of Photo Media from Inspection Reports

I’m currently trying to use the Power Automate integration to create an excel spreadsheet that summarises data from Inspection Reports from a specific template, with the last column in the inspection to include a photo/image of the defect from the inspection. The photos from inspection are stored as media during in the inspection - and when downloading the inspection reports + media, they are given a unique name. Playing around with Power Automate there is a HTTPS link to the photo available as an output, but when trying to access this link I get a forbidden or “this page isn’t working error”. Custom Document Numbering Format

The current formatting options for Document Numbering only allows [number], [first], and [last] to be included in the automated documenting numbering. Is it possible to include additional fields and the ability to edit the number of digits used in the [number] format. For example, would it be possible to change the format to be [Asset] - [Number], but the number only has 4 or 5 digits? From the above example, the final Document Number might be CV001 - 0001. The ability to utilise any of the built-in questions in the naming of the document numbering would greatly enhance the ability to filter inspection documents by their asset without opening the inspections. Custom section title on repeat sections

When creating a repeatable section, each repeated instance is automatically given the same title with an incrementing number — for example, “Instrument 1”, “Instrument 2”, and so on. When dealing with a large number of instruments (e.g. 50 or more), this makes it difficult to identify each one individually. Is there any way to work around this? Ideally, I’d like the repeated section title to either: Automatically use the value from a field within the section (such as a tag number), or Allow the user to manually rename each repeated section when it’s created. In my specific case I’m aiming for is section titles like “TT01”, “TT02”, “PT01”, “FT05”, etc., instead of generic numbering.

QR codes

Hello Safety Culture Forum - would anyone be in agreement that it would be very useful if the Safety Culture programme could create a QR Code within the template. This would allow the user to create a QR code on the spot using a dedicated hand held printer and then to apply a label on the item which they have just inspected. Attached is an example of 3 no. fields from my own template which I would dearly like to see converted into a QR Code which I could then scan and send to a printer. Would be interested to hear what the community thinks?
