Quick question.

Did the free plan limitations come in for everyone on March 25th 2025, or just our company?

We invested a lot of time writing inspection templates only to find now that we can’t afford the $1500 subscription.

In have no problem paying, it’s a good service. However, I feel that one guy on the premium plan and the 4 other staff members who fill out inspections and nothing more, could be on the lite plan. This seems far - especially since when we first started writing templates there was no warning of an unpayable price increase.
I’m sure as our company grows we may use your other cool features, but we will never know. 

The word extortion comes to mind?

Maybe not, but a little upsetting that we’ve potentially wasted all that time nonetheless.

Could there be any leniency for legacy users?

Can your guys doing the inspections piggyback off a full account? You can have up to 3 devices on a paid account, not including the desktop. If you have guys who just do inspections you can get away with having 2 accounts for 5 people. Just bear in mind that the devices will have the same permissions and access as the full account they are using. Hope that helps!

How does this work?

I am the Admin for my company and was going to use Guest Seats for inspections 2 per year each… but unless i read it wrong has Guest changed from 1 per year to 3 over lifetime?

Dont really want anyone else using my account.


As far as I was aware, guest seats have always had the 3 inspections limit so can’t help there.

 

I’m also admin and there is no way someone is having access to my account so we use department accounts. A department manager will use the account on their desktop while 3 tablets are logged into the same account to carry out inspections for that department. We have 3 full accounts for departments to use with plans to increase this as more people are getting on board with the system. All employees have a guest account as well so issues and actions can be allocated to them where necessary and they can be kept notified

Ah I see.

Although I’m an Admin I do not manage most of our staff on the platform - only in my immediate department and there are only 3 of us on it.

Obviously read the 3 inspections thing for Guests wrong… 🤔

 

I have enquired on enabling Assets in a list to be allowed checking off as one inspection per year for Guests.  This would not break the bank of SC.

IE - if you have 180 assets at a location Guest could only check 3 assets leaving 177 not checked.  Lite users could only check 12 per year leaving 168 not checked.

I proposed to SC if possible allow an asset listing to group all listed assets together into one inspection checklist.
