Question

Can we make lone worker activities hidden to standard users?

We'd like to modify the access permissions for lone worker activities. Is it possible to limit standard users to viewing only their individual activity records?

Thanks,

Harry

Hi @HarryGould ,

You should be able to modify this under ‘Permissions’. If you configure a permissions set to only have ‘Access’ to lone worker, rather than ‘Manage’ or ‘Settings’, the user will be able to undertake lone working activities on mobile, but will not have the capability of visualising the lone worker map on the web platform.

Let me know how you get on.

Hi Nick, thank you for this. I can do this for my individual account, but my understanding is that the induvial user needs to amend this setting themselves? Myself as admin can’t change it?

Thanks,

Harry

Hi Harry,

If you adjust the permissions sets as an admin, you’ll be able to assign these for each user on the platform.

Thank you Nick. By removing the Lone Worker Manage feature, will this remove the ability for a user to create a new lone worker session?

@HarryGould They will still be able to complete lone worker activities if they have ‘access’ permissions.

Perfect, thanks for the help Nick. Just tested with one of our standard users after removing the Manage setting from everyone. He can now start activities on his phone but not see it on the desktop, so this is perfect.

Thanks again!

Harry
