I have just read this and want to add my thoughts in. Up until recently, we used a mixture of full and free seats for the business. We trialled and then implemented training with role specific courses across the whole company. To achieve access for everyone, we took advantage of lite seats. All users with free seats were upgraded to lite seats and some users with full seats eg, company car drivers who only completed a monthly car inspection, were downgraded to lite seats. We have ended up with everyone being able to access training and have found that we will pay less for our annual subscription on renewal. Brilliant

Can you skip questions in Safety Culture?

Why not add in a question “Is the customer home?”Then two logics from the question. “yes” and you add in the inspection questions.“No” and it skips the questions and goes through to the sign off.

Hi Giustina,thanks for the response. It is all going well but I am finding it difficult to find the dates, names of learners and assigned lessons scheduled for recurring training. eg; I have a group of project managers who recently completed their health and safety refresher course and it is set up as recurring in 12 months. I can see the details on the completed course but would like to see details for scheduled training.

I totally agree also. I recently scheduled an inspection for the whole company. The schedule was for the first 7 days of the month but they could be submitted after the due date.As everyone was receiving an email reminder each day, the inspections that were completed were by clicking on the link in the email. The issue with accepting late submissions is in my mind where the greater chance of completing via the template. So I sent an email to all users still to complete their inspection and requested they do so but also gave an instruction on how to find the link in my schedule. It is working so far but took some time to add the users into the email.So it would be great if there were a way to send a reminder as with Heads Up.

How does everyone collect and track licenses and credentials for workers

Hi @Bec Cooper,thanks for coming back to me. I would certainly like to be included in the early access.I will email through an example of a training matrix. It is pretty basic as the main uses of Simpro do not include holding records of competency.

hi @Matt Gregory, I was just re reading this and noted that you use Verizon but nothing to write home about. We have been trialling Teletrac Navman but I find it not as good as it was when I used it with a previous company as they have changed the platform they use. So i have started talking to Verizon about trialling it. If you have some time, would you give me any pros and cons on the system?TIA

Hi @Bec Cooper,just saw this and perfect timing. We use Simpro for storage which is far from perfect but it was all there was at the time that could be utilised. We have started looking at other platforms so I would love to hear more on this one.To collect the documents, again is archaic. We obtain copies and upload them into the system. Two things that are crucial for us is the ability to run a training matrix off as needed and also for reminders when a competency is due to expire.Also, I know we have talked about contractors before, but would you be looking at incorporating the ability to store contractors licences and competencies?

How do you use Heads Up to engage with your team?

Hey Keiran. Heads up is such a great addition to the platform and we have been using it since last June. We use it extensively for everything from Safety alerts - eg. strong wind warnings last week and steps that can be taken (whole company)toolbox talks - eg. Our clients obligation to hold asbestos information (project managers)Updates to processes - eg. roll out of amended risk ranking matrix (site operatives)Work instructions to simplify processes - eg. setting up SafetyCulture notifications to come through to your mobileLessons learnt, shout outs and more. The two greatest things about it are being able to target your audience and tracking who has viewed and acknowledged the heads up. Awesome.

Hi. I will start with a bit of useless information.I lived for over 20 years in North Queensland, Australia. I spent a lot if time in Townsville (where SafetyCulture started) and have some good friends there. Now I am in the UK and work as UK HSEQ manager for Blink Charging and electric vehicle charging company. This fast paced industry holds its own unique risks which is where SafetyCulture plays an incredibly important part in keeping everyone safe.I first discovered SC a few years ago while working for BP. It started slowly but picked up momentum as various departments witnessed how we utilised the platform. I brought SC into my role with Blink and have seen a repeat experience with various departments asking for support. While these requests take me away from my work, I do all that I can to help set everyone up to succeed.
