Photo Captions

When taking photos and adding them to an inspection I tend to take closeup photos showing details of what I am inspecting. Would it be possible to have a field to type in a caption so clients know exactly what the picture is. For example, I take a picture of the side of a bus. It would be nice to type in a caption that says cargo bay door one. That would allow the client to know exactly what they are looking at.

You can use the annotations function on the photos, which is already built into the Safety Culture/iAuditor app.  You can add text, arrows, ovals, rectangles, etc to identify areas on the photos.

Hi @RV P. I. 👋🏼

@Sean Baker is spot on with the ability to annotate images, including captions, as you’ve requested there! Though one thing to call out if that this is only available on the mobile app.

I’ve attached a screenshot of where you can find this for photos you take or upload from the SafetyCulture mobile app – let us know if this helps :)

For now, I’ll go ahead and close this idea.
