The Workato Integration builder is probably the area lacking the most documentation.  There should be pre-made examples of things and articles showing recipes for common things, as well as tips and tricks.

Next would be the Exporter and the Power BI sample dashboard.  How to take advantage of them, what to do with the information, how to customize the dashboard, etc.

The area I probably have the most questions about are things we aren’t leveraging much. For example, Sensors and Marketplace.  I can’t say how good the resources are because I haven’t yet dug into them yet.

There are minor things missing in the resources at the detailed level of different features.  For example, nothing explains that “partner” courses in Training cannot be edited once you import them or that you’ll get a notification if there is a new version.  I had to learn this through discussions with our SC team. The feature itself needs to state this before you import too.

I would consider myself a power user, so I’ve figured a lot out on my own.  Not everyone has the capability or time.


I feel assets needs supercharging more - explained this in earlier posts ref the ability to add items in the current mandatory fields. We need the ability to change this otherwise we will be spending more time changing all assets.

I mentioned what i am after regarding colour coding (traffic Lights) as part of a risk rating for assets. This needs to be on the first page and shown in the colour. 

I want my personnel to see the red items and ensure they are checking them first.

I also want labels as per the ones currently in actions to be integrated (same list) into assets, issues, training and heads up.

 


Risk Assessments - mentioned time forever. This is a legal requirement for many countries and the starting block to measuring risk. It is the cornerstone of Safety Culture and there should be an area where a universal dynamic system is a part of Sc that covers RAs -

I want this to be in SC and not external as it then fits into the PDCA of everything.


Heads Up - major update required to bring it into line with all the other improvements.


Something similar to MS designer for images / videos and animation to self build with AI in Training. 

AI is there but i feel that this may need to include ability to build images and videos etc from adding text sentences etc

 


Narrator for Training courses instead of current native ones. 

Surely this can be a future release link with AI in built.

 


An insight into what SCs plans are for users.
I know there was a release to add profiles etc to users.

Introducing User Fields: Display details that matter with user fields | Community

I want this to be a full competency profile that not only links to training and credentials but also adding to

  • Skills
  • Knowledge
  • Experience
  • Behaviour

We are looking for this in order to look at gaps, objectives and appraisals in order to ensure that we upskill, retain competency and also ensure that we are right for the personnel and they are right for us.

 

This again will be another KPI for individuals that they have the ability to improve by keeping on track with 

Defined Roles and responsibilities.

 

Example - we may require that they complete training courses or add relevant knowledge activities they have completed.

It may also include completion of asset checks, inspections, actions closure, issues raised and closed or credentials added.

All the above for me needs to be inside SC.

Agree entirely about risk assessments. Most other safety platforms have risk assessment functionality, and it’s always one of the first questions I get asked when I give new clients a SC demo. 

I believe the issues area could be improved with custom labels.

I love the asset area but I do think this could also be improved. 

I’ve not yet been granted access to the new companies area yet but thats a big one clients ask about and we put workarounds in place for. I’m hoping it has some functionality to see if contractors are on site and which site but if not, that should be something to consider. 

Asset readings is great but could be used for so much more!

Not being able to select multiple assets per inspection is a pain. 

Colour coding would be amazing for assets, inspections, actions and issues, and maybe in the future, risk assessments/coshh assessments.

More customisable reports, which include visual data (Graphs, charts)

 As a safetyculture partner, not sure if this already exists, but I would like more training or demonstrations of integrations and the benefits and features of different integrations. This would allow me to sell the platform better.

Bult upload of actions…..I’ve spent sooooo many hours of my time adding 1000s of actions from 3rd party reports. 

As a SC partner who trys to introduce all my clients to the platform, I have access to a number of my client’s accounts, it would be good if I could have access to templates I have built for clients linked to my user account so I can access them in all of my client’s accounts.

Improved filter UX/UI - The filtering is a tad tedious. It feels like in some areas it could be improved.
