APPROVALS

Ref approvals.

I understand there are a few threads on this at the moment.

In the template we can set approvals to be implemented.

However in the way that we are looking to positively use this function, it appears to not be working correctly.

Let me explain.

We have dynamic templates that we use for inspections and we also have some that are RAMS and procedure related.

We initially complete an inspection and then we may / will go back  into the inspection etc to add additional info.

So for this the initial approval is done.

However if we the go back in and for our purposes add an addendum to the inspection

There is now no approval requirement where the inspection can be set to completed again.

If someone can explain or feedback from the tech team then this would be appreciated

Many Thanks

Hi @jonnyg,

Thank you for your post and feedback! You are correct—the inspection does not prompt a re-approval at this stage. The initial approval process was designed to provide a foundational sign-off, and the team plans to revisit and refine this workflow in the second half of 2025.

We’ll be happy to provide an update at that time.

Thanks again,
Karen

Where is the time line?

After speaking to your advisors they were not aware of this next year.

Nor would I suggest are many of the community.

I would have assumed that this would have been ironed out in the beta trials.

Do not understand why this is half done.

Like many others using your product we utilise inspections that we review and go back to as they are developed.

We are now in a position where we cannot utilise this approval process until into 2025 as we cannot use the flow from the inspection being initially completed and then added to.
