Surely there must be an automatic way that when a learner completes any eLearning via training tab that the Credential is updated to include this.
I am sure that this will help system and be a plus for building competence?

+6I could see certain applications for this. Forklift Certification comes to mind. They have to watch some videos, take a written quiz, then drive the forklift and do certain tasks. For the demo portion at the end, a person is watching them and telling them what to do, as well as grading them. Once they pass, they are given a certification card signed by that trainer. If courses (or perhaps playlists of courses) had an option to turn on certification and optionally set a timeframe for expiration, then the certificate from that course/playlist could show up in credentials with that expiration.
