Question

QR Code for incident reporting

tjsmiley75

Hello first time posting to the group.

I am working with my HR department to attempt  to create a QR code for incident reporting.

I have created a code and linked it to our incident reporting category but cannot figure out how to make it so it does not populate with the rest of our issue reporting. Ideally I would like the details to only be accessible to HR and executive level employees.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello! If I have not misunderstood, try this. In the issues section select categories at the top of the screen, then select the relevant category. At the top of the screen, under ‘edit category’ you will have two options, click on ‘access’ then ‘edit’ on the next screen in the access section. On the right side of the screen you can now assign additional access to groups or individual users. These users or groups will then be the only users who can see that issue (with exception of the reporter, assignee and admin) provided they are not in a permission set with override permissions ticked. Hope this makes sense!

Benj thank you for your response. Sounds like I need my organization to to decipher what permission sets each group has. currently everyone that is not a guest can see everything

I had the same thing and was scratching my head as to why because I had spent ages setting access restrictions to all of our templates and issue categories. I spoke to SC customer support who realised the override permissions boxes were ticked. Ask your admins to double check permission sets, especially the override permissions section at the bottom of the ‘edit permission set’ menu
