API - Integration with Back Office Systems

I am looking for some help and guidance on improving our use of SafetyCulture (Iauditor) with regard to information stored on our back office database.  We carry out 800+ inspections every year and a lot of data in our back office system is transferred manually into Inspection templates by officers.  It would be great if we could automate this process as we know how which premises are due an inspection for the year and we can export this data out.

If we could get some help on this I would be really grateful.  Thanks

That sounds like a great use case for integration, we have many customers who start and pre-fill inspections using our API before they are completed by users in the SafetyCulture app.

Using the API, I often see customers using these three steps:

  1. Start an Inspection
  2. Update an Inspection
  3. Share an Inspection (Note this does not notify the user, you may like to send an email or raise an action containing the Inspection Deep Link)
