We have several iPads with safety culture in use, these are issued to the machines and get utilised by different personnel on different shifts across a 24 hour period, however I have recently discovered that once an audit/inspection is complete it can still be accessed on the same device it was created on and then also edited (I'm sure this is intended), I have no issue with audits being accessed by other shifts, however the ability to also edit is cause for concern. This is a potentially undesired scenario I wish to avoid.
My question is this… is there a way to remove editing privilege's on the device that the inspection is created on once complete and submitted? (access settings does not do this) or a way to make the inspection unavailable on the device once complete? (again access settings does not do this) Once an inspection is complete from my point of view there is no reason for anyone to re-open to edit it so I don't want that option there.
in an ideal world we would have an iPad for each shift, however this isn't cost affective or practicable, only one shift will ever use the iPad at any one time.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? or found a work around? has this been brought up before?
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks
