What is the recommended process for an employee who has in progress inspections and become sick or is fired or won’t be back on shit for a week and can’t complete them before they leave?

BEFORE YOU REPSOND PLEASE NOTE

if inspections (in progress or not) are linked to a schedule and you delete them the scheduled item will not revert to missed/late so you will no be able to track that the scheduled inspection was missed (not completed)

Hi,

After struggling with this myself I found that if you go to the inspections list. Filter the complete and In-progress by pressing completed.

Then select all the In-progress ones you wanted deleted and you should see the below at the bottom of your page.

If you are the owner or have the permissions to do so you will be able to archive and delete as normal from the archived Inspections.

Hoped this helps others seeking this information.

Padrig.

thanks for you reply the issue isn’t so much the how to delete the issues is if you do and it was a scheduled inspection the item just proceeds to being a miss it won’t come back and be in the schedule to complete.  It’s know if a the draft your deleing is part of a schedule

so if you have a weekly report that start on Monday and due on Friday and employee A starts it on Monday but dose not finish it. Then on Tuesday they delete it because they are sick and won’t be in for the rest of the week or even just by accident. it won’t be in their queue or any anyone else's queue but on Friday it will show up as a miss. I agree with it becoming a miss I disagree with it not showing up in the schedule to complete.

My apologies, by the title of your question I believed your issue was the same as mine to which I couldn’t find a way to delete in-progress inspections.

Unfortunately I do not have the answer to your other query.

I’ve been bugging them about this for while make use you use caution when deleting in progress items as it basically makes them a miss.
