I have shared an idea around being able to link inspections created from a template to an issue when the issue is raised for when someone forget to complete the inspection from within the raised Issue.
A bonus/secondary idea that would be a nice to have when looking at the inspections tab/table/view is a column that identifies which inspections have a corresponding issue and what that issue’s ID is. At the moment the field Document Number can only auto-generate the next number in the sequence for that template or be manually over written by the user. As it is autogenerated and this can not be switched off there is a risk that the user forget to write in the Issue ID in this field and so when reading the report there is no reference to the initial issue raised etc.
TLDR: can we have a field that auto fills in issue number for linked inspections. Or an indicator whether or not a completed inspection is a linked inspection.
