What you’ll love about this new functionality

Managing a large, growing team can be a challenging task, especially when it comes to updating user records. We understand the importance of efficient user management, so we’ve introduced an improved way to update user information at scale.

With just a few clicks, you can now change the time zone, seat type, group membership, and site membership of multiple users simultaneously, saving you valuable time and effort. Ensure greater data accuracy and consistency while minimizing the risk of manual errors that can occur when updating records individually, with streamlined record updates.

The changing of time zone is bulk by page saved me so much time because we had many users that were in the wrong time zone and it was effecting their date time stamp on their pictures. This help get everyone on the right time zone. Next step would have been great to select “all users” to do it in one step. Thank you so much for this!!

Hey Gary, really good to hear this has made a difference.

An “all” selection (like how Gmail does it) was is something we considered, but unfortunately couldn’t include with this release. As you can imagine, some of the applications of this would be for thousands or even tens of thousands of users and it’s a little much for what we have available at the moment. Having said that though, we are hoping to start tackling some of these infrastructure limits in the future and that will pave the way for these unlimited bulk actions.

 

A couple things I am curious if you used to do some of these corrections for users:

  • Changing the results per page to 100:
  • Any filters? We don’t yet have a time zone filter, but would that have helped?
