When using filters on inspections, it would be really useful to be able to search for any inspections that have been modified/updated since being conducted (but not yet completed)  You can view history on an individual inspection but this is time consuming.  I haven’t found another way to do this so if there is,  suggestions welcome!

Hi @Sally McClure - thank you for your feedback! I can understand how looking at each and every inspection would be time consuming.

Can I please ask what your use case is when you’re trying to view all of the updated / modified inspections? Understanding this can help us to make meaningful change to the product in future.

Thank you,

Karen

Hi Karen

Our site supervisors undertake QA inspections on 2nd fix internal fire door installations.  As sometimes occurs, some doors maybe installed on one day and then plot returned to on another day depending on workload and if a mixture of NFR and FR doors and maybe different installers.  I will routinely check, using filter ‘conducted on’ to keep a check of where we are in the programme, but ‘conducted on’ does not capture what has been installed/inspected on subsequent days.  There is no easy way apart from reviewing history or viewing individual reports to see if the remaining doors have been installed / QA’d.  As we are BMTrada Q-Mark certified fire door installers, our QA inspection contains 2nd fix and final fix stages, and the QAs are only marked as complete once the finals section has been completed.  This may be a few weeks/months down the line. It would really help keep a track on outstanding doors and whether I need to raise actions if any door inspections are missed.  I do not raise actions immediately otherwise they would be flooded with actions unnecessarily!

Hi @Sally McClure,

I wonder if using an ‘action’ as a workflow, and linking your template to it, might help with the visibility of it? You can add in custom fields that can be updated by the inspector (like ‘2nd fix’ and ‘final fix’) and still create actions off of the linked inspections at whatever time you choose.

I’ve made a mock-up of what it could look like below, and I’m happy to have a chat further if you think this might be of interest to you.
