Hi, @jonnyg,
Hope you’re well and thanks for raising this feedback. Just to make sure I’m clear, you would only want the acknowledge button to appear once the video/media has been viewed/watched in full? I think I have an inkling as to why, but can you share your reasoning behind wanting/needing this ability? What do you use it for in Training?
I also had a look at the video slide in Training and wondered if any of the other options would be of use. Like Auto Play and Auto Progress (I feel like that would be more of an auto-acknowledge in Heads Up though)?
Keen to hear more.
When we or most companies use the Heads Up feature it is a communication of in most cases a gap, an event, a learning or similar.
When the Heads up is created what can and does happen is that some personnel that may be busy or not interested in the event but require to understand it, just quickly view with reading but then acknowledge.
Therefore - if companies were to look at Heads Ups sent out and for example to fully digest the Heads Up content should take 10-20 mins Pdfs, videos etc…
Then this should be reflected by the time that they open to the time that they acknowledge.
We are seeing this and although we have no utopian way of fully proving understanding of the main points of the Heads Up, i wanted a more mandated way to push them to do this.
Therein is my link to Sc training as in the courses that we build we can have a mandated approach for slides in lessons and their contents.
This is what my query was about.
Hi, @jonnyg - perfect, thank you for the context.
There’s definitely lots to think about here, like tracking the time of completion when it is either a mix of video and visual media, but great ideas.
I’m in the process of gathering feedback around Heads Up so very keen to hear any other thoughts you and the wider community has on this subject.
Thanks again for sharing!
More than happy to help as I see this as a critical communication path as part of a
