Christien Barber

Hey team,

Was just wondering if it would be possible to view and create a report for Inspections based on their completed date, rather than just by their conducted date?

Sorry in advance if this is already possible!

Hey @Christien Barber! This isn’t possible with Analytics’ current capabilities but it seems like great idea!

Interestingly, I haven’t heard this come up before in conversations I’ve had with customers - would you be open to sharing a little more about how it would benefit you? 😀

Thanks for posting this @Christien Barber! I’ve gone ahead and converted this post to an idea so other members can find this and upvote as well :)

Hi @Jason Hindley, as our audits can span over a couple of weeks due to the nature of our inspections it would be handy to be able to report on whether or not the people conducting the audit were doing so on time. 😊 Additionally, with the way we track our inspections it would be easier to look up how many were completed say the week before, instead of having to compare the data with the conducted date. Hopefully that makes sense 😅 And thank you @jackihann

Thanks @Christien Barber! That’s very helpful! If I’m honest, I’m surprised that this hasn’t come up in conversation before.

“Due to the nature of our inspections it would be handy to be able to report on whether or not the people conducting the audit were doing so on time”

Are you currently using the Schedule feature to schedule inspections amongst your team? My train of thought is that potentially, the “Scheduled” tab’s capability in Analytics could partially help solve this for you. 🤔

No worries @Jason Hindley! We sure do, but right now we’re really only scheduling one specific template to hundreds of sites and users, where we’re also allowing them to submit after the finish date. So, it can be quite challenging to sift through the Scheduled data in Analytics 😅

Definitely agree that it could be something to investigate a little more, but if someday down the line we could see how many audits were completed in a certain timeframe, to cross reference with our own internal reporting, that would be the dream 😊

Thanks again @Christien Barber, that makes sense! This is very helpful and I want to encourage you to keep up the amazing feedback! 😀

It looks like we’ve placed emphasis on the “Conducted date” in Analytics and the Inspections list, but haven’t done the same for the “Completed date”. I’m personally interested in seeing whether this idea will gain more traction from this post!

Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to manage our teams’ roadmaps but you’ll notice that @Burton (the Product Manager for our Analytics product) has liked your comment, so it’s definitely not going unnoticed.

If anyone here is interested, I built a custom process which pulls inspection data for several templates, and generates a weekly report at 6am every Monday automatically for my client.  Feel free to reach out if you would like more details.
