It would be nice to be able to do logic on the site name, i.e., if site A notify manager A

Please note that we are trying to avoid using global response sets because you can’t track the forms that use it them

Additionally,

If Site =A Populate site A’s contact persons name, e-mail and phone.

If Site = B Populate site B’s contact persons name, e-mail and phone

it seems like a missing function that “Sites” do not have a “contact person” and “contact information” for that person.

Hey @ldutton and @Keith J,

Thank you both for your post! This is a request we hear often under the concept of "logic across pages," and it’s definitely on our radar. That said, there’s some foundational work that needs to be completed before we can implement it.

We’re currently in the process of scoping the effort, and I’ll be sure to follow up once there are updates.

Thanks again for your feedback!
Karen

Hi both, happy Monday!

Thanks for your suggestion. We do have some capability today that allows you to set a certain person/group to be notified based on the location selected during the inspection, i.e “notify the “Manager” for the selected “site” (choose logic on a question and set notify with group+site membership). This would send them an email automatically of the answer from the inspection.

This however, wouldn’t tell the user completing the inspection or have knowledge of exactly who this notification went to.

As this is the case, in your example, what would you prefer:

  • Is the main goal to ensure the correct person is notified upon inspection completion?
  • Should there be visibility for the user conducting the inspection to confirm who will be contacted?

If you have any more insights on the below also:

  • Would you expect the contact person and information to be used in any other ways across the platform e.g follow-ups, reporting, or other workflows?
  • In terms of the fields, is it just contacts, or any other additional fields you may also like against the site?

We’re currently reviewing sites and how teams leverage this so keen to hear any thoughts!

Thanks!
