Ability to link SC documents to inspection questions to serve as instructions

I’ve been looking for integration of Documents throughout the platform, but this is definitely one of them.  Rather than uploading directly in the template, I’d want to select one from “Documents.” Or if you upload it while creating the template, be able to direct where to store it in Documents amongst the folders I have access to.

Thank you for the feedback! This is definitely one on our radar that we are planning to implement at some point in time. I don’t have any firm dates for release; however, when that changes I’ll be sure to get back in touch and let you know it is coming.

This is a great idea and is on the near term roadmap! We are working through what the next phase of Documents looks like now based off the feedback from last release. Specifically we had to improve access and Admin oversight which will come next. Stay tuned for updates in the very near future on this. Linking documents into other key products if at the top of the agenda for this product to add the best value for our customers and we are hoping to have this in the next few months

It would also be good to be able to link the documents to training courses so the most up to date doc is linked and not having to update it in multiple places.

Yes absolutely. The intent is that Document links will be able to be added across the platform wherever you can currently add a static document (and a few more even). Each product will need to push this into their space so you will see this in a phased roll out, however Inspections, Training and Assets are at the top of the list.

Being able to  add: Product Specifications; Manuals; Blueprints, Permits, Recall Notices; Standards Interpretations, etc. would be a fantastic addition.   could “add document” not exist with add note and add image as a default under every question?

Just confirming you mean from the Documents product within SC? If so, then the plan is for this to come when the above is implemented later this year. It will sit in the Add media button then selecting from local device or Documents and following that path

Note: if not from Documents product, then it can be done now using Add Media button then selecting from the local device
