I just discovered on the Sites page a feature called “Items without sites” which I have never seen before. This is an awesome feature! I would like to see a few adjustments to make it more useful.
- Does the Inspections tab show inspections that don’t even have the Site field in the template, or only those that have the Site field but it’s not filled out or is marked as ‘site not listed here’? I would like it to show all 3 scenarios, and in a column describe which one it is (no site field, site field incomplete, site field marked as not listed here).
- On all three tabs (Inspections, Issues, Actions), I would like to see a column with the user that created the item. That would provide more context as to which site they should be assigned to and to filter by them.
- On all three tabs, add a “filter” option for the conducted by user. Then we can only see items for certain users if we want to look at all items that should be related to a particular site. Now we can assign in groups working on one site at a time.
- On all three tabs, add checkboxes to the items and a bar with a button at the bottom to “Assign Site.” This would allow us to mass update all the items without opening up each one individually which is very time consuming. For Inspections, of course it could only assign them to those that have the Site field.
