Paul Smillie

I have just created a bunch of inspection schedules against individual assets. As an example there are inspections required on four different forklifts all on the same template and timings.  It would be good to be able to select multiple assets of the same type and have all require an individual inspection. Another option would be to be able to bulk upload via CSV file to create schedules.

@Paul Smillie

I have recently done a similar thing.

Assets in inspection open up a whole world of new ability, but fully utilising it in schedules currently is a struggle.

It would be good if you could have multiple ways of scheduling use assets, like being able to select multiple assets and schedules the amount of inspections for which there are assets selected (As you mentioned), or moves through the assets over each inspection, 4 assets, 1 inspection done a week, 4 weeks until asset appears in inspection again.

Hey @Paul Smillie and @swhite, thanks for your comments - your feedback and insights are appreciated 🙏🏽

I’ve checked in with the team and wanted to let you know that there are some exciting updates coming for Scheduling, with the roll-out of the new version planned for end of year/new year. Whilst the upgrade is really about improving the basics (and getting them right), the aim is to set the foundation to build and develop off this to then support Assets within this space in the new year. Stay tuned!
