I thought my Safety Culture rep told me that there will be unlimited questions coming soon to the “issues” feature when you create a QR code. Is this still in the works?

Hey @Laura Gray 👋

Unfortunately, there are no plans to increase the number of questions allowed on an Issue, for either internal or public qr codes. However, we are working on making the Issue questions and fields more customisable. Like being able to remove the default fields, or make questions mandatory for submission.

Hi Laura

Like you, i find only being able to ask 5 questions limiting. I tried to use the inspection template but it only works if they log in so defeats the purpose of having it added when i want the reporter (who may use only the QR code) to provide required information as part of the submission, particularly if you need to report to a regulatory authority.

I would like the questions increased or allow the template to be completed as part of the reporting process not after.

Hey @Laura Gray

I thought that same as you, and then remembered that I had read this post:

I may well have misunderstood, but I took it that we were able to define as many incident types as we wanted.

I am glad Issues limits the number of questions you can ask in each category.  Although, these are setup by an admin, rather than by sites, for us anyway, so I suppose we would only ask more when absolutely necessary.  The whole point of Issues is to be quick and easy.  Anything more, then use a template instead.  You don’t want a user having to scroll through 100 categories, then choose a category and have to answer 20 questions.  By that time, they could have just done an inspection using a template.
