In SC training or similar there could be a section for briefing and TBTs.
However this would need to include contractors and free users on the system and a way to get the digital signature of acceptance.
The TBTs are not my main concern at the moment it is having a way to drive these forward from paper based to electronic.

Seeking Community feedback on new unreleased "Fill-in Course" Templates | Community (safetyculture.com)
Hi, @jonnyg,
Thanks as always for your feedback.
I’ve just had a look at the thread you posted and there’s some great information in there around what’s required going forward for the Training fill-in course templates.
You mentioned above that the main challenge is moving from paper to an electronic format. Does that mean that you are currently conducting Toolbox Talks in person and tracking attendance via a paper register?
Paperless face to face or remote.
We have moved from paper so this is not a problem but want to bring it all under one roof with SC and complete the cycle for…
- In house eLearning
- External (want to be able to add this in the system as a plan / objective) similar to eLearning. Would like to discuss this further on a way to get planned training in the SC system.
- The reason for the above is we will be using a SC template for appraisals so then we can then start linking everything in a full cycle of PDCA
- Plan Do Check Act
- At the moment having some teething issues etc with Dashboard that i want to iron out and then used this as the main part for how we are doing and are we on target for training amongst other things.
Hi @Shaunwc,
It’s great to hear that Toolbox Talks are something that SC is looking at
Currently, we do ours face-to-face and use an electronic form which we pass around on a tablet to capture attendance.
It’s not ideal, but it’s better than not doing them at all. We have a remote workforce which makes it tricky to come together to do these. As a result it means we probably do less than we’d like to and as inevitably someone misses the session we then have to repeat everything again!
I have been considering using Heads Up for our TBTs as it would solve this issue. My idea was to upload a video (made in something like Canva) and/or PDF as media to the Heads Up, which would mean we could keep formatting similar for each one. I’ve not attempted this yet, but I’m guessing the file upload limits could potentially be a constraint here.
I agree with @jonnyg, it would be really important to have means of acknowledgement for everyone, who might not necessarily be S/C users (e.g. LOSC)
Hope that helps.
Emma
Hi, @emmashuff,
Great to hear from you. When you say electronic form, is that a SafetyCulture inspection?
Heads Up would solve the acknowledgment side of things for you as you can request this on any Heads Up. Does all of your remote workforce have access to SafetyCulture in some capacity?
I also just looked up the file upload limits for you and they are the following: videos (up to three minutes or 1.5GB), images (up to 50MB in total), and PDF files (up to 50MB). For video files, MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, and WEBM formats are supported. Do you think that might work with your idea?
I am keen to understand further your reasons behind using something like Canva (a great tool btw). Is it mainly due to the continuity of the video?
Thanks,
Shaun.
