Our team is dedicated to enhancing the quality and standard of templates in the Public Library to support safer, more compliant businesses ✅

We are looking to partner with external organisations and industry experts to achieve this but we want to hear from our Community of Improvement Specialists, first 🚀

These are some insights we’re looking for ⤵️

  1. Would you be more inclined to use ready-made templates from our free library if they had been created or vetted by an industry professional/body?

  2. Is there any industry specific content you’d like to see in there, that would be valuable to your company and/or role? (e.g. a process that needs to meet a particular standard in food safety)

  3. Are there any organisations / industry bodies / associations / experts you’d be interested in seeing content from?

To chat further about any ideas you might have, please reach out to us directly via community@safetyculture.com 💬

My initial response...

1. Would you be more inclined to use ready-made templates from our free library if they had been created or vetted by an industry professional/body?

Yes. However these may need to be related to geographic locations given the variation in legislation from OHSA to HSE etc. More than happy to assist, influence or be part of this.

2. Is there any industry specific content you’d like to see in there, that would be valuable to your company and/or role? (e.g. a process that needs to meet a particular standard in food safety)

Wow good question.

From safety and occupational perspective ...

For me it has to be an SC Dynamic Risk Assessment template / system.

This is the cornerstone in Safety for measurement of risk, the hazard and control measures.

These could actually be put in place as example hazard and risks where the assessor can amend slightly to fit the Dynamic Risk Assessment.

This can then be expanded into PHAs and PHR for process safety reviews and Hazard studies / Hazops.

Would also be good for a library of videos and animations for specific subject

3. Are there any organisations / industry bodies / associations / experts you’d be interested in seeing content from

HSE, CITB, FIS, IOSH.

Within reason this could be most orgs etc.

Thank you @jonnyg, this is super helpful! I will be in contact if we require further information - I’d love to involve you where I can 👍🏼
