I am noticing when I save a photos with annotations, I will often get a White band appearing across the photo. I am regularly having to discard photos during an inspection as the photos simply don't sync. Is anyone else experiencing these issues and is there a solution. I am running the app on an Oppo phone. Internet connectivity is not an issue. I have ran all the usual troubleshooting such as “force stop”, delete and reload app. Version is current.

Hey @Swadmick, sorry to hear of this - I can imagine it must be very frustrating! As I investigate with our Support team internally, is it possible for you to share a few more details to help us get to the bottom of this as soon as possible?
Are you able to share an example (/screenshot) of what the photo looks like with the white band? You’re more than welcome to private message or email me if preferred - bianca.taylor@safetyculture.io
Similarly, with regard to issues syncing, are the photos simply not attaching to the inspection once it’s completed?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi
This is an example with the white band. It happens on several photos of every report.
As for the synching issue it seems that I need to wait to allow synch to occur. An example I just completed took 10 minutes for a handful of photos in a basic report to synch. Thanks for your help
Hi,
Is there any update on these issues. It occurs on every inspection that I do. It looks terrible on final reports
Hi @Swadmick ! My sincerest apologies, this one seemed to have fallen through the cracks - thank you for the follow up! I am checking in with our team internally as we speak and will get back to you ASAP. This might be one we will need to escalate to our Support team to investigate further, as this indeed is strange behaviour. Will update you shortly
Thank you for your patience @Swadmick. I’ve checked in with the Engineering team who have confirmed that this is a known issue that they’re working towards fixing. The team are rolling out a revamp of the annotation UI which aims to address this issue over the next few weeks, so your patience is sincerely appreciated during this time. In the meantime, the team have advised to please try capturing images in low quality (this can be configured in the device settings or SafetyCulture camera settings) to save space and possibly prevent this issue. Thanks for your continued understanding!
