Hi,
I am a .NET developer integrating SafetyCulture into my project. I successfully generated an API key from my SafetyCulture account and was initially able to interact with the SafetyCulture API without issues, including retrieving and updating response sets. However, I am now encountering an "Unauthorized" error when trying to get or update response sets, despite using the same API key.

please help me out to resolve this issue

Hello and thank you for raising this issue.

There are a couple of things to check first:

  • After 30 days of inactivity, an API key will be deactivated, has your API key been used in the last 30 days?
  • The API key has the authority of the User who created it, ensure that the user still has the permissions required and is an active, full seat user.

If you have checked these two criteria and you still experience the problem, please raise a ticket with our support team so we can investigate further, our team is available 24/5 to assist you: https://help.safetyculture.com/en-US/contact-us/

Our team has investigated your report and the reports of some other users, we believe this is a fault occuring with our public API for some users.

You can track the status of our investigation and resolution here: https://status.safetyculture.com/incidents/b9vhv8s9ypdc

I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and our engineers are working to identify and resolve the fault.

This incident has been resolved, you should now be able to resume your development and testing.
