After using SC for 3 years, i’m only realizing now that using the in-app camera does not give us the full powered device camera; normal lens and wide-angle lens especially. What A shame !!

SC is a field tool to capture spot-on informations. Inspections are a great way to guide field worker of what is required from them. However, if a field worker need to take wide-angle lens pictures, he will have to do that “on the side” and then conduct his inspections. This can lead to so many mistakes or forgotten informations. Plus, while you have the choice not to overflow your gallery with SC pictures, the second alternative here will ultimately burden you electronic device!

I have actually two clients, working in the automotive industry, that check light and heavy vehicles when their customer drop them off (only 5 to 10min to do so) and get them back after maintenance, reparations… The type of inspections that I created for them is based on pictures. That way, they avoid most of their customers’ litigation. 

Having to do almost 5 different pictures to get all the bus side or taking pictures and then uploading them via the inspection is already a waste of time. And again a source of error.

Please, let us use our camera full powers while conducting inspections!
