I see the ‘inspection history’ as an important training tool. Is there a way to choose what history you see?

For example, to see content from the original auditor and that as the final inspection report (after review). This would provide the auditor with the ability to review, compare and improve on capturing the required details required.

One thing we will be working on later this year that could help in this space is an Inspections Approval process. That may be able to be leveraged to provide the approver with the ability to give feedback and coach/train inspectors.

Another thing for ‘History’ in an audit, is to be able to review and use a previous response and/or note. At present there is only the ability to assign an open action and review history, which generates a report. 

The ability for use a previous response and/or note would be handy, for example:

  • We have selected yes for a question and uploaded media; a PDF attachment. If we could easily reselect it that would be great. In the meantime, we have to wait until we upload it again via the computer. This is a pain and a delay.
  • Other times we have questions which require some investigation. If we can see a previous response, it would save time in the field.
