Practical Lesson on SC Training

HiI’m developing a training course where I want to add a practical element to determine the delegates competency.I’ve tried to find a help article SafetyCulture Help Center but the training elements are very basic. I can’t figure out what the bits on the left do and how best to use them.Has anyone else used this feature in Training yet?

External Training Content

Has anyone identified a way to pull in external content into SC Training? I’m not referring to PowerPoints, PDFs, etc. but rather other systems. For example, if you subscribe to systems like KnowBe4, LinkedIn Learning, Open Sesame, etc., it would be great if that content could be added as a course in SC Training natively, so it’s delivered and tracked in one place. I know that some content providers have SCORM exports, so you could use a SCORM slide type and upload it that way. If they don’t, do you just make a “dummy” course with a link to the external content?

contractor management

Want to start discussion relating to the new addition to safety culture which at the moment is basic. I want to assist and feedback in order that it assists both organisation wanting contractors and areas where contractors need to prove competence. Currently IMO it is basic and needs to expand so that is easier to bulk add information and build competence and not just valid certs with dates.

Actions tool - SAVE button greyed

Hi all, Is anyone else experiencing an issue whereby you edit an already opened action, and either update status or comment, and the SAVE button is then greyed out until you change one of the existing field items either to something else or back to how it was? Then I’m able to SAVE. Seems like a silly little bug/issue. Thanks.

Tutorials Update?

I really like sharing the tutorial videos SafetyCulture Tutorials (wistia.net) with my colleagues as they engage a lot better than a written explanation.However, they are all quite out of date and don’t reflect the new/ latest platform so I can’t share them (a lot even refer to iAuditor 😮). Is there a timeline to update these or should I make my own?

Data Within Inspections

Good Afternoon,I was looking at Analytics and the different ways to get data from our inspections in our Facility. Looking through the site, I see that we can get # of inspections conducted, # of flags in inspection, etc. What I am looking for is to extract the data (weights inputted, pure number, etc.) within the actual inspections. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Create template from Excel file option removed?

Hello! Our company creates a template that changes weekly by importing a list from an Excel File. However, we noticed this week the option to create a template with this function has been removed since the latest update. Importing the files in PDF or images, the only two formats now, changes completely our list. Is the Excel format permanently removed? Is there a way to optimize a PDF for the platform to better read the document?

Image capture to devise a training course?

Did anyone else receive a pop up on their mobile device letting them know that we could now capture an image of a document and it would devise a SC Training course automatically?I think my eyes may have deceived me because I can’t find anything on the website or apps. I’d love to try this out if it is a real thing 😍

With the new analytics can the dashboard be available to view only by Lite licence holders?

We are driving front line managers to review their team’s inspections, whether they have completed, started or had a certain response type. Thy themselves don’t need to complete any inspections or do anything but view and action. Can it be possible for lite licence holders to view a dashboard assigned to them with in the app?Also I was told by my CSM that you were working on being able to see who hasn’t started their inspection yet- rather than just who has started or completed. Is this something you are working on or is likely? It would really help to see at a glance which outlet/user hasn’t started to direct support in the right direction. We can have up to 200 users on at any one time in a location?

Looping Questions on Inspections

We use SafetyCulture to track damages to vehicles at certain locations on the vehicle, for example on the windscreen. For each damage we take a photo and then record the type of damage (e.g. “Scratch”, “Chip”, “Crack”) and then some metric depending on damage type (e.g. for the “Scratch” damage type we then ask the user to input the length of the scratch).The windscreen could have multiple damages that need to be logged in this way and so a useful feature would be to allow the user to “Add another” or indicate “All damages Added” without needing to prescribe the number of damages (and therefore the number of questions in the template) in advance, which is unknown. “Add another” would allow the user to repeat the same question set to add another record of damage. “All damages Added” would allow the user to break the loop and move onto the next inspection area.A workaround using existing features would be to use the slider response type and add logic to display the respective number of f

Issue with APP and spinning circle or blank screen

We are running multiple Galaxy S8+ tabs with Android OS 11 and we seem to have an issue with them either hanging, freezing or showing the spinning circle of death when trying load. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?Our IT department is trying to solve but I thought I would reach out here.
