Rahul

As you all know, all assets have some sort of maintenance activity that needs to be done externally by competent person, the duration ranges from monthly to yearly

Many of these dates are overlooked, which affects the preventive maintenance of machineries

So can we have an option to add external inspection dates to assets and give us reminders on external inspection due soon, this option would do good as many assets require external maintenance by law.

Hi Rahul

Thanks for the question.

Currently you can solve this two ways.

  1. set up a recurring Action on the asset (monthly, yearly or an otherwise custom range)
  2. set up an annual or monthly inspection schedule on the asset

Either of those options will give you a notification / reminder that something is either due or coming up.

If you want to discuss this further in detail, please send me a email and we can arrange a time to chat.

Cheers,

Duncan

This is great for assets that have a statutory periodic inspection like compresors.

The addition scheduled inspections based on hours or kms would be a game changer for us, as we have 76 assets which require servicing based on this criteia.

Hey Hayden,

Good timing. That is what we are currently working on.

The way it will work is you can set up a maintenance program based on usage (km, miles or hours). The data can come from the telematics we ingest, or from manual entry via an inspection. When the threshold is met, a notification or action will trigger.

Will keep you posted on release dates. ETA middle of the year.

Cheers,

Duncan

Great stuff,

In terms of the Telmatics do these need to be form the intergrations listed in SC?

We run mixtelematics, could this be intergrated?

Cheers

Hey @POPEY

Apologies for this slipped through the cracks. Any telematics can be integrated if you can access their API’s. The ones listed on the integrations tab are self-serve, but the if you have something not on the list there are three options:

  1. you can use our API’s to self-serve
  2. you can go via a partner like Inauro
  3. with an enterprise license and CSE could build it for you

PS: will set up a call with you sometime to run through the maintenance program of work we are currently working on.

Cheers,

Duncan
