We are currently rolling out Safety Culture at our company. Primarily we will be using the Inspections tool. I’ve developed multiple single-point-lessons (w/ QR codes) for various inspections. I’m finding that some folks scan the QR codes upon receipt of the single-point-lessons with the intention to just see what happens vs actually wanting to complete an inspection. There ends up being an abundance of initiated inspections without our system that are not “complete” (in progress). Is there a way to avoid this and having to archive and delete unwanted inspections?
I get this a lot as well, usually whenever someone is new to the platform or if a new template has been published. I doubt there is a way around it other than going through and manually archiving but if there is I’d like to know as well!
Only thing I can suggest in this situation - maybe during the lesson you scan a QR code yourself to show team members the inspection. Hopefully that will satisfy their curiosity! And also ask them to not scan and start an inspection unless they intend to fully complete.
