In the UK there is a requirement for Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
This is for electrical equipment.

Therefore as a win win.

Can the following be migrated specifically from Assets?

If an asset required PA Testing that we can filter and export this to show all the items that should be PA Tested and then are they in date with regards to the test.

On very busy Construction Sites this would be fantastic in merging and proving what we are doing without creating another excel spreadsheet.

Any inputs welcome.

Hey Jonny

There are a few ways that you can do this in the system today.

  1. Schedule a recurring PAT Inspection for each asset
  2. Set a recurring Action
  3. Create a date custom field “Next PAT -> filter the asset list by site and sort by the Next PAT field (this would work for web)

Coming soon

  1. Ability to append date fields (or any field for that matter) to display on the asset list on mobile. After this release You will be able to do a similar thing to web, where you can apply a site filter, and then see a list of assets with their date fields visible.
  2. Later in the year the ability to do do time-based maintenance planning in bulk for assets will be available. We’re currently working on usage based plans, but time based plans will follow. This PAT test could be a plan that you set up and it will trigger notifications and/or Actions.

Does this help?

With regards to the video meeting we had…

What is the output from this as I have had no communications whatsoever???

Hi @jonnyg

The call was intended to clarify what you were asking for so we understand your requirements. We’ll use your feedback to make sure we build the features in a way that accommodates as many users as possible.

Thanks for taking the time to help us understand this area. The work we are doing right now for time (and usage) based maintenance will help you achieve most of what you’re looking for.

The work on statuses for assets is on the roadmap too but hasn’t being prioritised for development yet.

Cheers,

Duncan
