Hi there
We have created new asset types and therefore need to update the asset types for each asset. I can’t find a way to do this without needing to update 1000+ assets individually as the edit in bulk template does not seem to work for Asset Types. Is there an easier way to do this?
Any help would be appreciated

You should be able to edit types in bulk via CSV. You need to make sure the field names exist in the new type.
If the upload is failing there is an error report explaining why. What does that report say is the problem?
A faster way to resolve this might to be go through support and they are online to help 24/7 and can help you troubleshoot.

I think the “You can’t edit types” threw me off…
Oh yeah, that is there because people think they can edit types in the sense of adding additional fields that don’t exist in that type. Good feedback - we should look at making that less ambiguous.
