Hi @Alan Pisani ,
Time based maintenance plans are now available. The way it works is the next service is due x amount of days or weeks from the last service.
There isn’t a linkage yet with a template though. We will find ways to automate and link this in future iterations of the feature.
We wanted to release what we had built so far and find out how customers want to use it. We’ll learn based on early feedback which options we need to prioritise building first:
1. via API if the work-orders are generated in an external system
2. manually (and in bulk) if the work is done by external servicing agents
3. internally via a linked Action
4. via an Inspection - like you are suggesting
5. some other option we haven’t thought of yet
In the meantime, while we find out what are the most common ways people want to do this, we’re focused on building an edit function, which is the ability to edit the cadence, threshold, and assignees of the notifications of existing plans. Currently only the description and name can be edited.
Hope this helps. Thanks for giving us this feedback and please let us know if you have any other suggestions.
Cheers,
Duncan
Thanks for the reply Duncan.
Is the maintenance feature not available on the SC APP.
Currently we have a number a maintenance Techs carrying out inspections via the app. Our assets have no odometer so runtime readings cannot be logged.
As a workaround if the feature was in the app I could have the technicians carrying out the work update the last service date.
Thanks
Hi @Alan Pisani ,
Mobile is a couple weeks behind but its on the way. The latest app versions update every fortnight on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. We weren’t finished in time for this weeks’ cut off, so should come out with the next one.
Keen to get your thoughts when you see it.
Cheers,
Duncan
