Add Logic function
What I’m trying to achieve is having 1 Audit Document that can be used for multiple different departments. I want to have multiple pages where each page represents a different topic.Not all pages are required to be completed for each department. Im wanting to use the Logic Function to direct the flow into a selected page instead of a section.I can achieve the above by having each topic in a new section but the report formatting doesnt work out.eg.10 pages all relating to different topics.2 departmentsDepartment 1 may need pages 1,3,5,7,9 and these will be activated by logicDepartment 2 may need Pages 2,4,6,8,10. Not sure if this makes sense, I’m trying not to have a different document for each department and use logic to select the pages Jason
Notifications from externally shared templates.
We run a permit to work system with our sub-contractors utilising SafetyCulture. We share the templates externally and they complete the permits when required. When they have completed the permits they click an acknowledgement which gives us an instant notification via text and email. This was extremely effective until yesterday when the notifications stopped coming through. If one of our internal users completes a permit, the notifications come through, it is just those shared outside of our company platform.Support is working on it but thought it worth mentioning in case anyone else uses notifications with externally shared templates. If so, you may want to check you do not have the same issue.
How does everyone collect and track licenses and credentials for workers

User Log ins for multiple companies
I am wondering if anyone else has a problem with user licenses where the user needs to use SC for more than one business?As a travel business we have multiple Operational Offices worldwide and these offices use SC to audit our travel products. We also operate product for other travel companies (third parties), and our operational offices are audited by the third party that we operate trips for, and they also use SC.SC only allows the user to be linked to one company, so our users can only log in to the Intrepid instance of SC to audit our product, but are unable to use that same address to provide audits for our third parties. Does anyone else have this issue and how do you manage it? Thanks in advance for any helpEmma
Extracting tabular data from inspections
Has anyone found a good way to extract data from multiple inspections of a specific template into a tabular/grid format?I’ve tried the following, all of which are not very functional:SC Data Exporter (new version with GUI) - This extracts the “inspections” in a CSV file and “inspection_items” in a separate CSV file. However, all question labels and response values are in a single column. You cannot use a pivot table on this due to needing each question label as a filter, row or column, and the response values for those separated out by label. SC Analytics - The “Responses” tab allows you to see a list of inspections for a template. If click export - table as CSV, you get a spreadsheet of the inspections but without the responses. If you click “view responses” you can see charts and breakdowns of the answers for each question. However, I cannot see responses for a question based on the responses of another question - only all answers for each question regardless of how they answered th

How do you use Heads Up to engage with your team?
Hi SC Community! Heads Up is designed to allow you to communicate with your team wherever they are, and know they have received the message. It’s use case can be for toolbox talks, updates, recognition and so much more.Many tend to take a while to adopt it for various reasons. But Heads Up can be invaluable in closing the loop when thinking about continuous improvement - for example a recurring incident is noticed through analytics that is regularly raised as an Action (or an Issue) linked to an inspection. When collating data or speaking with managers, it is uncovered there is a simple adjustment that could be made - like improving the lighting in a space to avoid trips and falls - where the change could be communicated using Heads Up.I’m curious as to how you and your team use Heads Up? and if you are not using it, why not? It would be great to hear some examples of how you are using Heads Up to create discussion find new ways to improve!
Looping Questions on Inspections
We use SafetyCulture to track damages to vehicles at certain locations on the vehicle, for example on the windscreen. For each damage we take a photo and then record the type of damage (e.g. “Scratch”, “Chip”, “Crack”) and then some metric depending on damage type (e.g. for the “Scratch” damage type we then ask the user to input the length of the scratch).The windscreen could have multiple damages that need to be logged in this way and so a useful feature would be to allow the user to “Add another” or indicate “All damages Added” without needing to prescribe the number of damages (and therefore the number of questions in the template) in advance, which is unknown. “Add another” would allow the user to repeat the same question set to add another record of damage. “All damages Added” would allow the user to break the loop and move onto the next inspection area.A workaround using existing features would be to use the slider response type and add logic to display the respective number of f
Allow users to assign access to their inspection reports on a case by case basis
I have my organisation access rules configured so that users only have access to their own inspections. I do not want to change this setting because that would mean users inspection lists would become too lengthy, not to mention that some inspections may be confidential.However, there are some instances where a user may need their manager to review the inspection report. The ideal scenario would be for the user to assign an action to their manager (which I know is something they can currently do) and when the user is notified of the action, they are automatically given access and are able to review the inspection report. Alternatively, it would be great if we were able to configure some kind of integration whereby, if a user inputs a name into a particular field, the user input into that field is automatically sent a copy of the report.If it is already a possibility I would love to know how to configure this. Otherwise please accept this as a potential idea for a future update.
Map accuracy on Android vs Apple
Hi all,Not sure if this is a question or an idea, but my users find that when they pin a location on an Android device then it will often shift to the nearest address, but on an apple device they can place the pin wherever needed.This is quite important for us as we operate large locations that are often remote and dont have addresses.Does anyone else have this issue? Having an issue with image not loading a) whilst losing reception b) on an android device
Hi All,not sure if it just my device, however i am having an issue with once i lose reception i.e in a carpark basement that the image i have taken will not load even though i get the green tick?is it just me or have you found a solution for this.TIA
How does your team use the "Issues" feature outside it's standard intent?
We’ve started having some teams use it to record construction defects, re-stock requirements, and turn it into an internal ticketing system for licence requests. It’s also great for collecting anonymous feedback - not just from team members, but clients and members of the public. I’m curious as to how you’ve adapted issues to develop a new process or collect information in a new way?
Use case for an asset hierarchy?
Hi community members,We often get asked by customers to who have early access to our new assets feature to develop a hierarchy for assets. Sometimes it is for a parent-child type relationship where the child is a sub-component of the parent asset (like an engine in a vehicle). Other times it seems to be more for grouping assets together. A question we have is whether the inspections and actions on a child asset also show up on the profile of the parent asset?If the answer is yes, and the child moves to a new parent, do to actions and inspections move with it and also show up on the new parent asset?Keen to hear people’s thoughts on what are the problems they have, or what they are trying to achieve when they ask for parent-child relationships on assets.
How are people using the Assets feature outside of its original intent?
Hi Everyone, I’d be interested in any feedback on how people may be using Assets outside of its original intent. As an example, I want to:identify areas/zone in the warehouse that need to be maintained in accordance with 5SMy thinking is, Assets would be a a great way of monitoring the standard, scheduling audits and tracking the progress. QR codes would be placed in the area so visiting management or anyone else can see what the area should look like and conduct an audit as necessary. Look forward to discussing.

PDF reports vs. Web reports
Hello, thought I would start a discussion around PDF reports vs. Web reports.Which option do you prefer? Which option does your organization use? Do you also print out the PDF report? or just share the digital version?The reason I ask is, I’m trying to encourage our team members to utilise the web reports more so our company can start thinking about more environment friendly approach. This also allows our company to save printing $.Keen to hear how everyone’s using them!

For example, whenever a new process or feature is adopted, how do you communicate this? Or whenever someone leaves a team or organisation, how do you make sure the SafetyCulture product and process knowledge doesn’t leave with them?A few methods my current and previous organisations have used include handover documents (often a hassle), or knowledge syncs - keen to get your thoughts!

This might be a basic question but I just can’t seem to figure it out just yet, but is there a way to restrict my users from selecting sites they’re not members of?I’ve made sure to add users to their respective sites as members, but some of them just keep selecting sites they aren’t even members of, not sure what I may be doing wrong??
