What's new:

• Seat management setting: In Organization settings, admins can turn automatic seat purchasing on or off for their organization. It is on by default.
• Non-interactive purchase control: When off, automatic purchases from API, SCIM, HR integrations, bulk import, or invite links will fail with a seat-limit error, helping you prevent unplanned spend.

We encourage billing admins to review and update this setting today. It’s available now in the web app.

What's new:

• Edit summary: Edit the generated summary directly in the report to fix or tailor content, with simple formatting like bold, numbered, and bulleted lists.
• Regenerate summary: The summary updates automatically when inspections change, and you can manually regenerate it to reflect the latest content.
• Copy and feedback: Copy the summary and give feedback so future summaries become more helpful over time.

What's new:

• Update user details: Change user information, seat type, and time zone from AI Assistant or Agents to reduce manual updates.
• Manage membership and permissions: Add or remove users from groups and sites, view permission sets, and assign access so you can control who sees what, faster.
• User activity and insights: Check when users were last active and review permission access to make informed decisions quickly.

This release is available now to all plans on web and mobile, so you can start using these capabilities today.

What's new:

• Satellite device integration: SafetyCulture Lone Worker now ingests location updates, emergency SOS or duress signals, and check-in status from Garmin inReach and SPOT devices, giving you visibility in dead zones.
• Live map and alerts: Supervisors see satellite workers on the live map alongside mobile workers and receive the same alert chain for SOS or missed check-ins, helping you respond faster.
• Admin-only device management: Devices are provisioned by support and assigned by administrators in v1, so you retain central control over pairing and rollout.

This feature is available now; contact support to provision devices and start monitoring workers in remote areas.

At present, access appears to be controlled through the Analytics - Manage Permissions setting.

Can anyone confirm whether this is the correct permission level?

My concern is that this permission may sit at too high a level, potentially granting users the ability to make wider changes within the live SafetyCulture environment. In my view, governance and control of the organisation's SafetyCulture portal are essential, and permissions should follow the principle of providing access only to what is required.

If the current permission is correct, is there any consideration for introducing a more granular permission level specifically for Site Bench-marking access?

We are currently reviewing the roll-out of AI Assistant, Site Benchmarking, and Agents across our organisation. However, it is important that access is implemented correctly, as these areas form part of our overall governance and change control process.

Given some of the recent discussions around AI Assistant behaviour and controls, ensuring an appropriate and controlled rollout has become even more important.

I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has already implemented these features and how you have approached permissions and governance within your organisation.

What's new:

• Training matrix dashboard: A prebuilt, configurable chart that shows mandatory course completion per user, so you can review compliance at a glance.
• Filters and drill-down: Filter by company, course, or user, and drill into individual progress to take targeted action.
• CSV export: Export the matrix or drill-down data as a CSV to share reports or integrate with your workflows.

What's new:

• Delete all rules: Admins can remove all membership rules from a group or site to convert it to manual membership, so you don’t need to recreate it.
• Members retained: Existing members, roles, and permissions remain in place after conversion, keeping access intact.
• Reconvert when ready: You can convert a manual group or site back to rule-based membership later, provided you remove all existing members and managers first.

This change is available now in the web app for Premium and Enterprise plans, so you can simplify membership management immediately.

• Send inspectors straight to the finish line once a condition is met, so they only answer the questions that matter.

What you'll love about this new functionality

Long templates shouldn't mean long inspections. Until now, conditional logic could only hide content within a page, so you still had to click through pages, sections, and questions that no longer applied.

With the new skip to complete logic, you set a condition once and your team is taken right to 'complete inspection' when it's met. All remaining questions, sections, pages, and approvals are skipped automatically, so your team finishes faster and stays focused on what's relevant.

With the new skip to complete logic, you can now:

• Cut completion time on complex inspections. When a condition is met, jump straight to complete inspection instead of clicking through questions that don't apply.

• Handle more scenarios in one template. Build different flows into a single template instead of creating duplicate versions.

How it works

When adding logic to a question, choose skip to complete from the logic dropdown and set your condition, for example "if yes, then skip to complete." You can apply skip to complete across multiple-choice, text, number, checkbox, slider, and signature questions, and more.

How to get started with the new release

Skip to complete is available to SafetyCulture customers on any plan, on the web app and the mobile app (version 26.18 and above). To add logic fields, users need "Conduct, edit" template access at a minimum.
