In this release, you can now:

Link multiple inspection templates to actions

What you’ll love about this new functionality

Streamline work orders, pre-task risk assessments and other inspection-heavy jobs by linking templates to actions. When inspection templates are linked to an action, the assignee will need to complete them to close the task. By planning ahead and bundling inspections together that need to be done to complete certain tasks, you can:

  1. Reduce errors: Ensure the right inspections are completed every time by linking the required inspections to each action in advance.
  2. Have a more detailed audit trail: See which inspections were done to complete certain tasks without having to search through the platform. Improved documentation means nothing gets missed.
  3. Improve efficiency: With everything in one place, you can reduce the need to switch between tools (such as MaintainX, Pronto and Excel) to see what work is being done.

How to get started with the new release

Admins of all organizations can link templates to action types. Check out our support articles to learn how to create action types and link templates to them.

For any additional support, contact our Support Team or your dedicated Customer Success Manager, and they’ll be happy to assist.

Is there some thought about allowing a template to be linked to an action/task when being created, rather than needing it to be linked via a type?
