Just a quick discussion thread.

Is there a plan to link COMPANIES to actions and Heads Up.
This just relates to deep diving more into the Companies Tab and the Supply Chain.

 

If this is on the roadmap…

 

Then it will link with Heads Ups, Actions, Outputs and gaps from Audits and Inspections and give a better overall KPI in Analytics for Supply Chain Management?

At the moment unless i am wrong we can add companies and delegated managers etc but wanted to link them into what we do as a company that involves them.

Whether direct contractors, Clients or Suppliers.

If as a company we can extend this from Docs, to Heads ups and actions then we have a live link with our supply chain.

Thanks for the feedback here. Can you share an example of how this would work ideally for you? Is it in the assignment flows that you’d like to see companies as an option (similar to groups/sites)?

In case you haven’t discovered this - any actions assigned to contractors will be tracked in the activity tab in companies. This gives you an audit trail for what the workers are doing.

With regards to highlighted area.
Cannot see Contractors area on the dashboard or Tabs?

My query relates to exactly what you replied with.

Contractors and Companies need to be involved in the Sc system in such a way that the Org (us) can communicate specifically with them via;

 

  • Templates - A sub set option in the template for companies and contractors. This can either be an option when designing the template or an available option for specific templates that involve personnel (Safety Audit - non compliance) then involves the Companies or Contractors 
  • Heads Up - the Same - Automated Groups for Companies and Contractors - where a choice can be made of who gets the heads up.
  • Actions - the same 

 

 

  • Assets - Linked again to who is using. Are they using correctly or not. Again linked to the company or personnel etc
  • Schedules- linked to companies and contractors (Supply Chain)
  • Issues  and Investigations - Also linked.

Please see attached image for where you can track actions assigned to contractors. This is different to what you’re describing in your last message around assigning things to contractors or companies directly.

Could you share a few examples of how you’d ideally do this in practice? For example, would you want to assign a template, Heads Up, or action to all contractors from a specific company, or to a group of companies? And what’s the benefit of having Companies available as an option in the assignment flow — is it about speed, visibility, reporting, or something else?

Would love to understand a bit more so we can factor it into our thinking.
